A Grandfather's Love is timeless in the eyes of a child.

Grandpa used to give us rides in the bucket of the tractor, and he would let us ride with him in the cab when he was plowing the fields or harvesting. It was always kind of crowded because there's not a lot of room in there for two people.

Eleanor (Granddaughter)

My favorite memory of Martin is when we, Grandpa and me, were sitting on a hillside, and I asked him what time it was, and he said, "Half past kissing time and time to kiss again."

Daniel (Grandson)

What I remember most about my grandfather is how loving and caring he was to me. No matter what I did he would always love me. To me he was the greatest man. I remember him working on the farm and letting me go along. It was always the greatest experience every time I went.

Mary (Granddaughter)

Grandpa had great big strong hands that gave painful horse-bites, firm handshakes and tilled the earth. Without these hands you probably wouldn't hear the music I play today. A great man, never was there better that will live on in our hearts forever.

Mike (Grandson)

My memory of him was on one day we were all sitting in the living room of Mary's family. Zeke, Mary's nephew, was lying in the middle of the floor. We were all talking, and Martin was sitting in his chair. He was smiling and laughing at Zeke on the floor 'cause Zeke was doing some funny stuff.

Nick (Granddaughter Mary's friend)
